Website Updates and the Upcoming Alpha

We just published a round of updates to our website, and we want to tell you what changed — and what it means for the upcoming alpha.

What changed on the website

• Applications. The application overview now lists the software suite we are building towards: Nextcloud, Gitea, Vaultwarden, Bookstack, OpenProject, and AFFiNE.
• Pricing. Pricing is now split into two plans:
• Solo — free during the alpha, including 25 GB of storage. You can sign up now.
• Private — tailored options for family and friends (up to 6 users), businesses (any amount of users, private infrastructure, priority email support), and enterprises (custom infrastructure and software selection, enterprise licenses, priority support).

Documentation

Our documentation at docs.imagit.eu is still a work in progress. Before the alpha release, we will at least have a quickstart guide for all applications.

A focused start: Nextcloud, Vaultwarden, Gitea

The alpha deliberately starts with a limited software offering: Nextcloud for file storage and sharing, Vaultwarden for password management, and Gitea for code repositories.

We are keeping the suite small on purpose. It lets us gather meaningful feedback and tune the platform before expanding. The software offering will grow during the alpha and beta phases — you can read about those phases and our planning in our previous post: ImagIT Solo and the road to 1.0.

When does the alpha start?

We are putting the finishing touches on the platform. The free alpha phase is planned to run for 3 months, during which we will collect your feedback to shape the platform before beta and the 1.0 release.
